Scottish Women’s Football are delighted to announce two new members of their team, who will be based at Hampden, the home of Scottish Football. Fiona Cardwell joins as Executive Officer on June 20th and Lorna Cameron has been appointed at Competitions and Administration Officer, starting next week.
Fiona brings a wealth of sports and management experience, most recently working for Glasgow Life in sports development. Lorna joins SWF from the Scottish FA where she was a Competitions and Events Administrator.
Chair of SWF, Vivienne MacLaren said: “ I speak on behalf of the Board when I say how delighted we are that Fiona is joining us. Her leadership on a day to day basis will allow the organisation to grow during a key time for the game. Lorna brings experience in managing events and has superb club contacts.”
As an ex-player and huge fan of the sport, Cardwell has significant knowledge of the game and a passion for growth, a key aim of the organisation. Scottish Women’s Football have employed these two key members of staff to work more closely with the clubs and key partners including the Scottish FA.
